Hi. I am in the process of trying to book tickets for the Royal Palace in Madrid. We are also interested in booking a time slot for visiting the Royal Kitchen as well. We want to do a self guided audio tour of the palace but it appears that all tours of the kitchen are guided. That’s not a problem, however all the tour time slots appear to be for Spanish tours only. I selected a few different days spanning a couple of different months to see if any English speaking tours came up but none did. I have the site translated into English so that shouldn’t be my issue. For those of you who have done this before can you offer any insight into what I am doing wrong? I suppose it’s possible that the tour is only offered in Spanish. Thanks for your help. I really appreciate your suggestions.

I have no personal knowledge about the tours of the kitchens, but Google turned up a five-year-old TripAdvisor post that may still be accurate:
The implication is that the tour-goer was dependent on reading posted explanations, suggesting that the tour she took wasn't in English.
