Favorite restaurant for dinner in Madrid? Not just tapas
Baco y Beto and La Perijila are both favorites of mine.
We enjoyed La Sanabresa a few years ago. It’s in the Huertas neighborhood. It has a local vibe, affordable and included a Bottle of wine with dinner. Open for lunch & dinner. They did not take reservations. We arrived before 8:30 pm. By 9:00 pm they were at capacity. It was about a 10 minute walk from our hotel in Puerta del Sol. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g187514-d1507751-Reviews-La_Sanabresa-Madrid.html
Supposedly good restaurants. I have no experience with them other than Sobrino de Botín.
- Taberna Antonio Sanchez, ask for key to go into cellar
- Casa Alberto, 1827 known for Rambo de Toro stew
- Taberna La Bola
- Casa Curiaco
- Sobrino de Botín
