Madrid hotels with mini fridges

Will be in Madrid at the end of Feb. Which hotels have mini fridges in
the rooms? Another question, do restaurants have Monday as a day off in Madrid and in Segovia?
Thank you for your help,

I've never been to Madrid, but try the Radisson Blu brand. We've stayed in them in Zurich and Bruges and both had mini fridges.

Look at a hotel’s room amenities and it should say whether rooms have refrigerators. For example, for Hotel Europa at the Puerta del Sol it says, “refrigerators in every room.”

Different restaurants close on different days. Some may close on Mondays while others are closed on Tuesdays or Wednesday. Worse yet is when a restaurant is closed both Tuesday and Wednesday. In a city like Madrid it isn’t an issue, but in very small towns with few dining options, it makes finding a place to eat more difficult. That’s when buying items at a grocery store comes in handy. That is, unless the grocery store is closed on an odd day.

The majority of restaurants in Madrid, and throughout Spain, are closed Sunday nights and all day Mondays.

There are exceptions, with a few closed on Tuesdays and a few following other schedules.

Dinner hours usually begin at 8 or 8:30, with many restaurants not opening until 9pm. If you have a particular restaurant in mind, I recommend making a reservation online. For the few places that do not take online bookings, the easiest way to book is to ask your hotel to do this for you.

I imagine that most hotels win the 3-star and up category would have a small frig in the room, but you can always sent an e-mail to them and ask.

For each hotel you consider, double check that your particular chosen room type offers a minibar. Some hotels only offer them in more expensive rooms. I will also email the hotel to make sure. I have the same request everywhere I go.
