Hi. We are looking at both hotels for our upcoming trip to Madrid. I have heard great things about Preciados, but it will cost each couple an extra $40/night. Just wondering if it is worth the extra cost above the Emperador (which has a pool). Also, I am interested in having access to good local non-touristic food and ideally have some plaza or area that allows for a little jogging (without having to take the metro to el retiro). Thanks!
