Anybody familiar with the Hostal Adriano? It looks affordable and nice.

No, but the photos make it look a little nicer than other cheap places I've stayed in the same neighborhood. The area between Plaza Mayor and Plaza S Anna is a handy location that Rick has included in his Spain book for years. I say, "go for it."

Yes, I think I will book this place. It is located near many of the places I want to explore in Madrid and the atmosphere looks comfortable. Thanks for your input.
