Using a 2016 Best of Spain guidebook. In the Madrid section, sightseeing passes, a discount card “Madrid Card” is mentioned. €60 for 2 days. “Over 50 sites” including Royal Palace, PRADO, Reina Sofia & Thyssen-Bornemisza with shopping & other discounts. The website, wwwmadridcard.com, shifts me to what looks like an entertainment booking site. Googling “Madrid Card” there is such a card but €14.20 for 2 days (much less) & I think it’s basically a discount transportation card. Does anyone know if the Madrid Card Rick talks about is available? I’m NOT talking about the PASEO del ARTE combo ticket. Thanks for any clarification!
