Hello,
Need information on airport transportation to La Latina neighborhood- is it easier to take a bus, taxi, or train? And what are the costs? Near to Calle de la Ribera de Curtidores .Thanks
It's always easiest to take a taxi. There's a fixed rate of €30 from the airport to La Latina, and no tipping is expected beyond this. Particularly if there are several of you, or if you were planning to take a taxi from where the bus, metro, or cercanias train lets you off, it may not even be much more expensive.
If you are interested in other options, here is the official airport website; you can click on the various methods to learn more details: http://www.aena.es/en/madrid-barajas-airport/public-transport.html
Excellent choice for a neighborhood bordering the main tourist zone while providing a great opportunitity to interact with local community. Take a taxi.
Thank you very much
Hi,
About two weeks ago we took bus #203 from the aeroport to Atocha train station. At the airport go out to where local buses pick up passengers. The #203 will be furthest to your right of all buses. (right is the direction of the traffic flow)
At the train station you can walk to La Latina or take the metro.
The bus was 5€/person. There were No stairs to carry luggage up or down.
We intend to use this express bus to go back to the aeroporto next month.
