Madrid airport hotels

Does anyone know of a hotel at Madrid airpot that is actually connected to one of the terminals? That we could easily walk through a connecting corridor to the gates? We'd like to avoid having to take a shuttle bus.

I was hoping someone with more knowledge of Madrid airport would chime in but in their absence I will. First the airport is huge. Moving between the terminals usually involves a shuttle bus. So even if you found a hotel connected to say terminal 2 and your flight was terminal 4, you are going to have to get a bus that circulates every 15 minutes. Terminal 4 and 4S(accessed by a tram from 4) are the newer, larger terminals. 4/4S are quite a distance from the other ones. Taxis coming in from the surrounding area even charge more to go to 4/4S. There are hotels within the area of the terminals but none connected that I know of. Don’t sell yourself short on time at MAD either, especially if your flight departs from 4 because you may find it’s actually out of 4S and involves a long walk, tram ride and another long walk to reach. Best wishes.

I really appreciate the nice detailed reply on Madrid airport. Thank you. I've since found somethings about an "Air Room" which seems to be an overnight facility at or inside (downstairs?) of Terminal 4. If anyone has experienced an overnight in an "air room" please let me know. I will now check on which terminal our airline flies out of.
