I want to catch the express bus from the airport to Salamanca. Can anyone tell me where in the airport I would pick up the bus?

Presuming you mean with AVANZA - outside Terminal 1.

Ground level at the far end (farthest from Terminal 2) of Terminal 1. Exit Terminal 1 through the last or next-to-last set of doors. Cross only one lane. Proceed to your left on the median between the lanes. Look to your right and you will see the bus parking lot. Yes, this will be the Avanza bus. During the summer, choose a seat on the shady side!
