Taking a day trip from Madrid to Toledo in early April. Any recommendations on where to grab some lunch? Thank you.
Last time I was there, I was ready for some vegetables in this ham-centric country, and enjoyed lunch at Madre Tierra Restaurante Vegetariano. It's just behind the cathedral on Bajada de la Triperia, described in Rick's Spain book (and on shown on Google maps).
There are tons of little places to eat. Don’t really need to worry about where to eat. When you get hungry, just look around. You will have a fantastic time! Food was good. Don’t forget to try some mazapan!
