Luggage storage closer to city center of Madrid than the train station

Hi,
My family and I will be arriving in Madrid at 830 am, but our Airbnb check in is not until 3 pm that same day. We are unable to even store it at the Airbnb.

I know the train station offers luggage storage, but it seems a little outside of the center of Madrid, and we were hoping to not have to backtrack to pick it up after a day of site seeing prior to check in.

Does anyone have any other places closer to the center of Madrid where luggage can be stored for 4-5 hours? I noticed that there is a website called luggage hero that offers luggage storage at shops but have never tried this. Thoughts? We will be visiting the Thyssen Museum that morning and doing a free walking tour that afternoon. Thanks for any help / suggestions!

Madrid old town is relatively small so I advocate sending two folks back to pu luggage and taxi with it to your airbnb. BTW: perfect opportunity to learn how to NOT be a luggage mule.

I'd just Google for downtown options. I'd want to have the names and addresses of at least two conveniently-located options. I wouldn't be concerned about theft, but I'd still carry my expensive electronics with me, as well as prescription medications.

Thanks to you both for these suggestions! Thankfully we do pack very light, one small carry on and a backpack each for a 19 day adventure. However, I’d still prefer not to carry this stuff around while jet lagged! @Acraven, good point about electronics and prescription medicine! Thanks so much!

There's a chain of luggage storage places around the center. I just remember seeing the bright yellow lockers in the austere storefronts. No idea of the name, but I'm sure they'll come up in a search.
