Low emission zones

What is the best way to comply with the Low Emission Zone laws in Spain--best way to know what the restricted areas are? We will rent a car in Cordoba, drive to Granada, then to Antequerra, to Ronda, to Cadiz, to Donana NP, and return to Seville.

The rental car should have a sticker. Of the places you mentioned only Córdoba and Granada have low-emissions zones. I use the Green-Zones app to look up the low emissions zones.

I’d be more concerned with restricted driving zones than the ZBE (low emissions zone). For example, the center of Ronda is a restricted drive zone. Likewise, the historic center of Córdoba is pedestrian only. Those zones should be fairly well marked. In many cases the restricted driving zones are blocked with movable bollards that block the street. In the case of Córdoba, if your hotel is in the historic center you need to enter at a specific spot, then push a button (not necessarily easy to locate). When you hear a voice respond you tell the person which hotel you’re staying at and the person on the other end will lower the bollard.
