Lourdes to San Sebastion (Spain) Train Transportation

Any tips on what to expect as an American traveling from Lourdes, France to San Sebastián, Spain (Basque Country) by train? Our research shows we should take an SNCF train from Lourdes to Gare de Hendaye, then transfer to the Euskotren in Hendaye (Hendaia) for the ride into San Sebastián/Donostia.

For anyone who has done this: when switching from the French train to the local Euskotren, do we go through customs or any kind of border check? We aren’t able to drive, so we’ll be relying entirely on public transportation and want to understand how the transfer works.

It´s Schengen Space, so no border controls at all in the countries belonging to Schengen (France and Spain, among many others). No borders, no limits to free transit interEurope.

I haven't crossed the French/Spanish border at that point, but I would expect no border formalities at all. Those are both Schengen countries, so the internal borders are usually ignored. I've occasionally seen uniformed personnel (not working for the rail company) actually walking through moving trains.
