Looking to stay in a monastery in Barcelona Spain

There's none that you can stay in Barcelona nor the metro area around the city. In fact, here in Catalonia, there are very few monasteries you can 'stay in' as in lodging. In Montserrat for example, there's a hotel "next" to the monastery but not "in" the monastery. Some of the monasteries you can lodge in that come to mind are Poblet and Sant Daniel or the sanctuaries near Girona, but none is 'close' to Barcelona.

Sleeping Our Way Through Spain's Ancient Monasteries, Richard Starks and Miriam Murcutt, Lyons Press, 2012....in the book they mention El Reial Monesstir de Santa Maria de Vallbona , Cistercian, which is NEAR Barcelona, but none in Barcelona per se. The book offers a fascinating way of seeing the country...
