looking for itinerary recommendation 6 nights Spain (Barcelona/Madrid area)

Hi, you will have a great time....I have been to Spain many times for weeks at a time...

Here are some travel tips...as far as restaurants, you can use Yelp and other apps and guidebooks, online booking for hotels.

Do not drive. No need. 2.5 hour train ride between cities.

Arrive Barcelona stay 3 nights ( day trip to Montsarrat is possible) but there is a lot to see in Barcelona, plus you will be jet lagged...so it is up to you...

Day 4 Take high speed train to Madrid then 1 hour train to TOLEDO..( you are already at the train station so I recommend locking up bags in guarded storage room for the day) pick up some take away lunch/snacks at station to eat on train....very beautiful former capital...should not be missed!

Return to Madrid pick up bags, check in ( let hotel know you are doing this, if staying near train station you could check in before Toledo trip)
