Are there ferries that travel daily to the island of Mallorca from barcelona? Already have housing in Barcelona, but am interested to see if it's worth the trouble to make a trip to the island for a day.

There are daily ferries but the trip takes more than 6 hours each way so it's not really feasible as a day trip.

There are ferries. It’s at least a 5-hour ferry ride but it’s only a 1-hour flight (not including travel time to the airport and time for check-in, etc.). I’d look into flights for a day trip. Check Ryanair and Vueling for flights.

It's NOT a reasonable getaway for one day. It takes far too long to reach.
