Hi all, I’m wondering if anyone can recommend an affordable, safe, and nice hotel near the Barcelona airport (BCN.) After starting our trip in Barcelona, and traveling to France and then back to Spain, we’ll be coming from Granada, probably by train. We’ll be flying out the next day. After three weeks, I think we will want to rest and focus on getting on the plane, so staying near the airport makes sense to me. Thanks for any suggestions!

Take a look at ibis Barcelona Aeroport Viladecans and ibis budget Aeropuerto Barcelona Viladecans. They are next to each other. Ibis is a budget friendly and basic chain found throughout Europe. We’ve enjoyed the Ibis’ we’ve stayed at in other locations, but haven’t stayed are either of these. It appears there are a few restaurants within walking distance as well as an Aldi grocery store. They are about 4 miles from the airport.

We booked Sallés Hotel Ciutat del Prat at the Barcelona Airport for the last night of our December 2024 trip. We had an excellent experience. The room was very clean, quiet and quite comfortable. Dinner at the hotel's restaurant greatly exceeded our expectations. Our meals were beautifully prepared and presented. And we were able to park our rental car in the hotel's garage (small but convenient). The airport rental car drop off was about 10 minutes away. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
