We will be spending several days in Girona and Cadaques at the end of our three weeks in Spain. Any recommendations for lodging in these two locations?

There are 5 of us so we will need 3 rooms. Price limit around $150 a night per room. We only have one night in Girona and 2 in Cadaque so an apartment probably wont work. Also spending one night along coast possibly in Palafrugell if we can find accomodations. Many hotels seem to be already book for April 2018!

If you have 4 nights all up then spend 2 in each of Cadaques and Girona. Visit Llafranc / Palafrugell on the day you travel between the two.

We stayed at Hotel Playa Sol in Cadaques, the hotel is quite nice- please try to get the sea view at any hotel in Cadaques- it's worth it!
I believe there are only 2 taxi operators in Cadaques , and during our visit neither of these taxis were available (the drivers were out of town!) , and we had to lug our heavy bags all the way from the bus stand to the hotel (only a few kms away but the luggage added to the difficulty). So try to arrange for any taxis you need well in advance.
On a side note, the Dali House is worth a visit!

When are you going there? if it is not mid or high season, make sure the lodging has heating, because Girona region and Costa Brava are pretty chilly between October and like mid April.
