My college age son is living near Plaza de España in Madrid during fall semester study abroad. He’s using the lavendaria near campus but it’s expensive (about $24 for three loads washing and two drying). Any advice and/or tips? Thank you!

Use the largest washing machine to cut down on the number of loads. Unless the campus has a lavandería for student use that may be cheaper, I believe he’s doing all he can do.

My honest advice... He'll figure it out once he gets there and needs to do laundry.

Else try one of these places.
