Late June Itinerary Help

Hello. I have narrowed my June itinerary down (2 adults, 2 teenagers) for our first trip to Spain. We arrive at 8:00 on 14 Jun, then:
- Drive to Zaragosa for the night via rental car

  • 15 Jun: drive to Montserrat for a visit and then to Barcelona (turn in car)
  • 16 - 18 Jun: tour Barcelona then late fast train to Sevilla (15:30 to 21:15 on 18 Jun)
  • 18 - 20 Jun: tour Sevilla with one day trip to Cordoba
  • 21 Jun: Ronda via rental car
  • 22 - 23 Jun: Tarifa with day trip to Tangiers (looking for a good tour for the day trip)
  • 24 - 25 Jun: Granada
  • 26 Jun: Toledo via La Mancha Windmills tour (any best town to hit?)
  • 27 Jun: Segovia via Avila
  • 28 - 30 Jun: Madrid via El Escorial
  • 30 Jun: fly home at 12:30

Welcome any and all advice outside of the plane tickets as they are purchased into and out of Madrid (we are open jaw elsewhere on this trip to visit family in the US). We have RS' guide to Spain and plan to do a Flamenco dance visit in Sevilla, hopefully a horse show in Sevilla and a cave dance in Granada--any good recommendations?

Thank you,

Nick

... just for info: parking in major cities is a nightmare. You could go to Saragossa via fast train from Madrid (less than 1h30'). Also from there to Barcelona (same). To Montserrat there are several options, one being the traditional -and also part of the experience if you ask me- which is train+cable car or train+rack train and another one via bus.
Incidentally, a day an a half in Barcelona is next to nothing... you need at least 3-4 full days to scratch the surface of the city as there's a lot to see/do.

Enric offers good advice....the train is the way to go to Zaragosa...especially when you have had a very long time on the plane...fast and efficient, and restful as well. The trains leaves from the Atocha station...get to it from the airport via the Airport express bus..25 minutes and 5 euros, door to door.

Suggest you stop on the AVE train in Cordoba and then take another train on down to Sevillia.

Toledo Great B&B La Posada De Manolo...but in Toledo and in the other cities, you do NOT want to drive...in fact, in Toledo it is impossible..you are not admitted in a car...park outside and take a taxi if need be.

Sevillia....Really Discover Sevilla tours...small and well organized...they can point you to an excellent Flamenco Show...get there early and sit up front for a great experience.

Barcelona...you will need more time in order to see any of the city,.
