It is going to rain all day in Seville so just decided to go to Cordoba. We didn't know we r going to have time so didn't research. Pl. Advise what can I see in 7 hrs. Do I hv to buy mosque and alcazar before on line? How long it takes and what other garden or architectural marvel we will have time to visit?

You can buy tickets online for La Mezquita( Cathedral-Mosque). This is one of the world’s treasures.

This is little need to buy the tickets on line. Goggle Cordoba and the wiki entry will list things to do. You can walk through the mosque is less than two hours. Few visitors. There is a Roman villa ruins that were interesting -- another hour or so.
