We are planning to spend a couple of days in Valencia during the 2022 Las Fallas festival as a part of our trip to Madrid, Spain. Our understanding is that while it is beautiful to see it also tends to be really loud. We have a couple of family members that are sensitive to loud fireworks and we would like some suggestions on how best to take it in. If you know any of the answers to these questions I would be grateful for the input.
Are there parts of town that are more/less intense in terms of the fireworks, especially during the evenings? Should we stay in a specific part of town or avoid certain streets for our accommodations?
If part of our family wants to go see the evening festivities but the more sensitive ones don't will there be things to do in the evenings that will be away from the fireworks (or at least secluded away from the noise)?
If we are spending two days in Valencia what are the must see sights in the area to work into the itinerary aside from the festival?
Will going to the beach or any sights near the sea in Valencia be any good in mid March?
