Hello, we are a couple around 50 years old traveling to Andalucia for 8 nights mid-March.
We would like to spend 2 nights in Alpujarra without moving residence. Please offer any advice on town or lodging, we would prefer a hotel (a nice one?) rather than individual rental. Thank you

I only day tripped to the area, and I took the bus. My observation was that Pampaneira seemed a lot livelier than Bubion and Capileira. If multiple restaurant/cafe options are on your wish list, I'd opt for Pampaneira among those three. However, I only saw what was along the bus route from Granada to Capileira; there may be better choices elsewhere.
