We'll have a 6 hour stop in La Coruña, Spain on a repositioning cruise in mid September. What is the best use of 6 hours (9:00 hr to 15:00 hr) in the city? We're thinking of a stroll along several streets and a leisurely lunch outdoors with some people-watching. Any recommendations on what between the ship and the district will be appreciated.
I am planning a one-day excursion from Santiago to La Coruna. I would suggest at least seeing the landmark of the city -- the Tower of Hercules (roman lighthouse that still works nowadays and World Heritage of the Unesco) ; it is a little ways from the old town but you could take urban buses lines 3 and 5 in the Military Museum and both stop nearby the lighthouse
