My husband and I and our 8 year old son will be going to Barcelona in June for 5 days. I'm looking for good recommendations on personal guides in Barcelona.

I can't help you on "personal guides", sorry, but I know of a couple of guided walking tours for kids that are quite popular among visitors and locals alike. They're offered in several languages of course :)

I would also point out that, contrary to what some seem to think, a personal guide can be quite expensive. Anything involving a 1-to-1 service, be a guide, be a plumber, be a personal trainer... is expensive because labour costs in many countries in Europe are high. This is not to say "all" guiding services are necessarily so, but they tend to be.

Thank you for your reply. That would of been a great tour, but they only run on Saturday's. We get in on Saturday late afternoon.
