We booked the Walks of Italy VIP Colosseum Underground Tour with Roman Forum & Palatine Hill for May 26. I just got an email this morning that our tour has been cancelled! Our Rome trip is coming up fast. I’m looking for reliable alternatives to pre-book tickets for these entrances but I’m seeing no availability for on date. Any recommendations for other small group tours? Thank you.

I am in Italy now and I had the same thing happen the day of the tour. Walks of Italy contacted me and booked me on another one of their tours for the same day. We didn’t get to see the underground, but we did get to go on the floor and tour the Forum and Palatine Hill. The tour was excellent. If you are open to a tour without the underground, perhaps Walks can do the same thing they did for you as they did for us.

SandyO... thanks for your feedback. Walks of Italy did offer us a different Colesseum tour option but it will be in 10 days from the original tour date. We will no longer in Rome. I’ve reached out to WOI for other options during our Rome stay
But I’m not hopeful given the number of people I’m seeing now in our travels through Switzerland and the lakes region of Italy.

This happened to me with the same company. They offered the same tour on a different date. We were able to take the tour about a week later because we were heading south the next day. We had two days when we returned to Rome for a few days prior to flying home.

Diane 🏖️ … We’ll see if they are able to offer us another tour, even if it’s not the same one, while we’re in town, otherwise we will do Plan B. So much to do in Rome!
