Jerez to Granada

Hello -

I have friends who want to do a day trip from Jerez de la Frontera to Granada to see The Alhambra. I know it's rushed, but that's what they want to do. Here's my question: Is there an excellent private tour company or private driver that I could hire to do this for them? I want it to be a special experience for them.

In general, it would be great to have a private driver in Jerez who I could call on for any visitors wanting to do private day trips to Arcos, Sevilla, Cadiz, etc., rather than take public transportation or rent a car.

If you know someone, please let me know.

Ask the local hotel that you are staying with also.
Jerez to Granada is unrealistic too far a day trip, given that the ticket to enter the Nasrid Palaces in the Alhambra is at a set time.

We are not staying at a hotel.

If anyone can recommend a private driver in Jerez, please let me know.

Sorry Pepita, I can’t help you with a driver. But it is over 3 hours each way, without any stops, driving from Jerez to Granada. And it is important to purchase tickets to the Alhambra weeks or months in advance, unless you go with a tour that already has tickets. I suppose there might be a day tour from Sevilla, but likely not from Jerez.
