Itinerary Review: Andalucia 14 Days in December. UPDATED! (Thank you alll)

We are in Granada for the holiday long weekend in early December. Here are some ideas:

Tapas for dinner---
Taberna la Tana for freshly prepared tapas and a great selection of wines. A wine lovers's paradise, but tiny. Get there early when they open at 8:30 to grab a seat. (Bourdain filmed there)

Drive to Granada-
Any off the beaten paths to take from Ronda to Granada?

We drove Ronda to Granada a couple of weeks ago (Sep 5) and stopped at Montefrio, including its "National Geographic" viewpoint. Details are in our trip report posted on the Rick Steves Forum (part 3):

Mostly everything will be closed on Christmas Eve the 24th starting in the afternoon and into Christmas Day the 25th. Some fancier restaurants do open up on Christmas Day for locals who have the traditional Christmas Day family lunch.

I would suggest spending a night or two in Cordoba, especially if you like Moorish architecture. The true charm of Cordoba comes out in the golden hours of the afternoon and evening when all the day trip tourists have gone back to Sevilla.

Okay, GeoffB and Carlos, changed our itinerary to do two nights in Cordoba. Tried to minimize driving but giving us time to recover and end on a slow note in Granada. If you see anything else, please let me know. Thanks, again.

Hi Jebenna. JFYI concerning parking in Setenil de las Bodegas. We used the Los Caños pay parking lot and walked about 9 min to the two most-visited streets.

BTW, I see you are going to Cordoba twice in your itinerary. I assume that is intentional...?

In Sentenil de las Bodegas, there is some free parking at C. Jabonería, 11692 Setenil de las Bodegas, Cádiz, Spain.
