We are planning a trip to Portugal and Spain in May and hope my itinerary would work.
May 2 depart from Oregon arrive May 3 to Lisbon stay until May-7th then onto
Porto by train May 7 to May 12th. Maybe some extra days as being 69 a little rest may be good.
Then a long transfer to Lagos by train from May 12th to May 17th then a bus to Seville 4.5 hrs May 17th to May-21st thinking about a day trip to Cadiz.
Then fly to Barcelona will stay 5-21 to 5-25.
I have always wanted to go to Barcelona so hope fitting that in will work. It looks like the airport in Seville is close to town so that should make it easier and travel by train in Portugal should help with cost being a senior.
Do you think this sounds too ambitious? My guidelines have been how many days people think sites can be seen in how many days.
