Itinerary for trip to Spain in November

Hi. This is an itinerary I made for my trip to Spain in November. I feel like a left a lot of free time to wander around to just explore different neighborhoods, visit restaurants, or bars. I dont have any specific restaurants on my list. I usually just stop somewhere nearby when I'm walking around.

I have already bought tickets for the museums or cathedrals below.

Are there any specific places I should add to my list? Im usually most interested in historic sites and museums.

Is Madrid your European landing point after an overnight flight? If so, I wouldn't plan to spend the afternoon indoors at a large art museum. It's better to spend that first, partial day outdoors to start recovering from jetlag. In addition, some folks are too sleep-deprived that day to focus on a museum.

Trains from Madrid to Seville take close to 3 hours. You'll need to be on a train by 7 AM in order to reach Seville by 10 AM. For me that wouldn't be happening on the first full day in Europe. You may be made of sterner stuff, but don't forget to allow time to store your luggage at your hotel or elsewhere.

Rick lists his top sightseeing tips on this website. Follow this link, select one of the cities you plan to visit, and click on "At a Glance": https://www.ricksteves.com/europe/spain There are lots of worthwhile sights beyond those you have listed.

Segovia is a worthwhile side trip if you run out of things to see in Madrid.

That is a lot of traveling in 12 days.
Need way more time in Seville. Also, don't miss Segovia. You aren't going to the Prado in Madrid?

While in Cordoba, if you have the time, we enjoyed exploring the Juderia, walking across the Roman Bridge, the Alcazar (especially the gardens), and Palacio di Viana with its 12 courtyards. Although I am not sure what will be blooming in November at the Alcazar gardens.

In Seville, we enjoyed visiting Casa de Pilatos, wandering around Triana, having lunch at the Triana Mercado and Mercado Barranca. Also, the Plaza de Espagna is gorgeous!!! Take a carriage ride. See a Flamenco show.
