Itinerary for October

Greetings All!
We are traveling to Spain in mid-October and would like your opinions on this itinerary. We have been to Madrid before as well as Malaga, Marbella, Ronda and Granada. While we still have more of Andalucía to see we also really want to include Barcelona. Intrigued by Cadiz and can't miss Sevilla.

Day 1 - Late flight to Madrid, arriving early morning (6:25 AM)
Day 2 - either flight or rail to Barcelona in the morning, balance of day recouping from travel and some Barcelona familiarization
Day 3 - Barcelona
Day 4 - Barcelona
Day 5 - Barcelona
Day 6 - Flight to Sevilla and train to Cadiz, sleep in Cadiz
Day 7 - Cadiz
Day 8 - Cadiz
Day 9 - Jerez then on to Sevilla, sleep in Sevilla
Day 10 - Sevilla
Day 11 - Sevilla
Day 12 - Sevilla, late day train to Cordoba, sleep in Cordoba
Day 13 - Cordoba (possible late travel to Madrid)
Day 14 - Early morning travel to Madrid
Day 15 - Madrid or possible day tour to Segovia and Toledo, sleep in Madrid
Day 16 - Mid day flight to home. (12:20 PM)

Many thanks in advance!

Can you change your ticket so you can land in Barcelona instead of Madrid? Both Iberia and Air Europa have nonstop flights from Madrid to Barcelona. Air Europa is cheaper if you pack light but have fewer flights than Iberia. If it were me, I would fly from Madrid to Barcelona since you’re already at the airport. I’m assuming you’re arriving at Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas (MAD).
According to Rome2Rio train C10 departs terminal four to Estación De Tren Madrid - Atocha Cercanías (30m). You then need to walk to Madrid-Puerta De Atocha (5m). The fast train from Madrid’s Atocha stations takes 2h 30m where you can enjoy nice views on your way to Barcelona’s-Sants station. Buy tickets before leaving home for this leg because it sells out: https://www.renfe.com/es/en.
