Zaragoza to Teruel, absolutely yes, there is rail service. I took that trip myself in 2016. But Teruel seems to be at the end of the line as far as trains go, as is Toledo, so you are traveling to some wonderful but awkward spots.

Rome2Rio.com thinks there is one Samar bus a day from Teruel to Cuenca, but I'm not getting anything from Samar's website using Internet Explorer. If that bus doesn't exist, there's a rail connection via Valencia. At least part of that route is on an AVE train, so you'd need to buy the ticket early to get a reasonable price.

Cuenca is on the Valencia-Madrid AVE line, so you can take the AVE to Madrid and then get a train from there back down to Toledo. I know it seems an out-of-the way detour to go through Madrid, but that AVE train is fast. Again, you'd need to buy the ticket will in advance to get a good price. Rome2Rio thinks there are rare ALSA buses from Cuenca to Toledo, but I'm not finding schedules online, and I think that would be quite an odd bus route.

To get from Toledo to Caceres via the most direct path I'm aware of, you'd need to take a bus to either Torrijon or Talavera de la Reina. The Madrid-Caceres trains stop in those two towns (among others), and this would avoid the need to go all the way back to Madrid to get the train. The bus+train combo will probably be cheaper, but I don't know that it will be faster than train to Madrid and second train to Caceres.

You're traveling in mid-summer; brace yourself for the (likely) very hot weather. Be sure you have air conditioned lodgings.

Thanks a lot for all this information.
Do you think that it is better to rent a car from Saragoza to Toledo .And the train from Madrid to caceres?
I am afraid that even for 2 persons , a rental car would be more much expensive then the tickets train and bus from Saragoza to Teruel , Valencia , Cuenca , Toledo and Madrid ( even if I buy the tickets early!).
In any way what is in your opinion the portion that it needs to rent a car ,is it the one :
-from Saragoza to Cuenca and Toledo (especially if I will visit Albarracin also)
-or from Toledo to caceres

By the way ,I would like to have you opinion and suggestions in case I will modify my initial itinerary: ( Barcelona to Menorca (5 days , Saragoza (3 days) Teruel and Albarracin2 (2 days ,Cuenca (1 night) ,Toledo (3 nights ,Caceres 4 nights ,Evora( 3 nights ) and Lisboa (2 nights)
and make a select among this itinerary and the 2 others below :

II-Second alternative

From Barcelona to Ibiza ( 5 days) and the ferry to Alcudia and 3 nights in Palma (I visited Mallorca before ,but just to visit Valldemossa ( where Frederic Chopin and George Sand had been there) and take the ferry from Palma to Menorca (4 days) and flight to Saragoza (3 days) Teruel(2 days) ,Cuenca (2 days ) Toledo (3 days) to finish in Madrid ( 2 days).
In this itinerary ,there are 3 Balearic Islands (Ibiza,Palma,Menirca + Saragoza to Madrid .But no Estrémadura and no combining with Portugal (Evora and Lisboa).

III- Third alternative .
I maintain the same trip that in the preceding trip ( Ibiza 5 days Palma 3 days , Menorca 4 days ) and from Menorca I flight to San Sebastian ( 5 days ) and take the train to Saragoza ( 2 days ) Teruel ( 2 days ) Cuenca ( 1 night ) and Madrid ( 2 days).

In this itinerary ,there are 3 Balearic Islands (Ibiza,Mallorca and Menorca + country Basque +Saragoza to finish in Madrid also.( But no Estrémadura ,no Portugal and no daily trip from Madrid to Segovia and Toledo.

What do you think about the best itinerary among them .
Thank you in advance.

Aah, Albarracin. I've had it on my list for literally decades, but I do not rent cars in Europe and there seems no other way to get there. I think it would be great to do Teruel-Albarracin-Cuenca (in whatever order) in your own car. I don't know where car-rental agencies are located or how the rental costs might vary. You might, indeed, need to pick up in Zaragoza and drop in Toledo.

I haven't been to the Balearic Islands, so I cannot compare their virtues to your other potential destinations. I've also not been to Evora. I'm sure all the destinations are worthwhile (though I'd personally avoid Ibiza due to its party-hearty reputation), and we all face this kind of situation when we try to put together a viable, enjoyable trip. What I would do is look at logistics and weather.

If you're interested in the Balearic Islands, I think it makes sense to do them all on the same trip. Flights and ferries take time and planning; may as well get it all over with at one time. And Teruel-Albarracin-Cuenca should be tackled at the same time if you can find an affordable car rental.

In terms of weather, you are not traveling at a good time of year for Zaragoza or Extremadura. I suspect Evora may fall in the same brutally-hot category, but I am not certain about that. Teruel will probably be just a bit cooler than Zaragoza because of its altitude.

By comparison, the Basque Country is generally pleasant even in mid-summer. I think you would enjoy the weather break it is likely to provide. It's one thing to travel for a week through hot territory, but your trip is rather long, and I think you may find the weather draining. So I'd opt for the Basque Country rather than Extremadura and Portugal. Although I really like Lisbon, Toledo and Segovia, you can't go everywhere, and those areas will be relatively easy to visit on a later trip. And Central Spain is usually rather hot in the summer, too.
