Is there way to purchase Alcazar de Seville ticket to skip line

Hello,

As you must all know, I am leaving for Seville soon, I am looking to purchase the tickets for alcazar and cathedral de Seville in advance but at the same time I want skip the line and just go.
I am just wondering if I buy ticket online, do I still have to stand in long queue in hot steamy weather?

I am avoiding all guided tour ( that offers skip line) and would like to purchase audio tour so I don't have to be bound with someone 's timing. I would like go with my own pace.
Thanks in an advance.

When we were there, there were no lines beyond a handful of people.

Frank - What year and month were you there? I ask because I will be in Seville this coming October and am trying to decide whether or not to book ahead for the Alcazar.

I was there in early June this year. There was never a line when I walked by or when we bought tickets.

Hello. Was there in October. There were lines. Half hour or so. We bought tickets that day and our timing got us in front.

We were there over New Years. A small peak time.

We had booked general admission plus timed entrance tickets for the Royal Apartments ( Cuarto Real Alto). We are glad we did. There were no onsite tickets available for the Royal Apartment tour, and the line was long for the general admission tickets in 100F weather.

Since we had timed entry tickets, we could bypass the line.
