I need to buy Renfe tickets after landing in terminal 1 of Barcelona BCN, but could not find where is the Renfe office there. Also could not find where its Tourists Information office is. A detailed BCN map with such information is hardly to find.
Help!
The best I can tell, there is a Tourist Information office in Terminal 1. Normally those are positioned so that they're readily accessible to arriving passengers. Just watch for the lower-case "i" on directional signs within the terminal.
The train station seems to be in Terminal 2, so that's where the ticket office should be. This link should take you to the BCN webpage. If you don't see a simplified diagram of the terminals, scroll down and click on the middle of the three map/diagram mini-pictures. There may be better terminal maps somewhere on that website, but I can't find them.
Edited to add: Found a better diagram.
Chris,
I've not flown into/out of BCN (only into/out of MAD) but here is what I've found:
The Renfe Station is found outside of Terminal 2, so you will need to take the free green shuttle bus from T1 to T2
According to this website:https://www.barcelona-tourist-guide.com/en/airport/transport/barcelona-airport-train.html
Airport train arriving from Barcelona Airport:
The entrance to the train station is in T2B. It can be reached via the same set of escalators that also lead to departures. Follow the signs for RENFE, along a covered bridge across the main road outside the airport. The train station is at the bottom of the stairs at the other side.
You'll find more information about BCN here:https://www.barcelona-tourist-guide.com/en/airport/barcelona-airport.html
Have a wonderful trip!
Edit to add... You may need this to check train schedules (airport to city center): http://www.renfe.com/EN/viajeros/cercanias/barcelona/
Priscilla gave the correct answer: NO, there isn't, you need to go to Terminal 2
If anything, this is the website that should be considered: http://rodalies.gencat.cat/en since commuter and regional trains in Catalonia are managed by a different authority other than Renfe -albeit the later serves some of those lines. They also have a different name/brand altogether: RODALIES
As per map... well, terminals are 5km apart, the green shuttle has several stops in Terminal 2, and this is the corridor mentioned above which crosses the road in front of the terminal. There is really nothing much else to it, you'll see it immediately upon arriving at Terminal 2.
Actually, Acraven's answer is correct too!
I like the detailed diagram of the airport that she found for Chris.
... I don't want acraven to feel left out :))... her answer is also correct, LOL!
Thank you all! Now I know what to expect and where to go :=)
