I noticed that the size limit is smaller on the Iryo trains than the Renfe (70x55x35cm vs 85x55x35cm). My bags are 29.5 inches or 75cm tall, is Iryo strict on their size limits for first class tickets or do they allow you to pay more like come some airlines?

We took an Iryo train from Barcelona to Madrid this August. No one even looked at our bags.
In general, train operators usually don't care that much about it.
No one looked at our bags on either of the two IRYO trains we took. More important is finding a space for your large bags.
