Inn/B&B/Hotel near San Sebastian

Hi All,
Has anyone stayed near but outside San Sebastian? Just looking for one night with nearby access to San Sebastian.Seeking a quiet, well appointed B&B, Inn or small hotel near San Sebastian: not too expensive! Have been looking in Hondaribbia, but the Parador is pricey for its accommodations w/no breakfast & Hotel Obispo has 'unguarded' parking in the public City Center. Reviews for others report very noisy revelers and a poor night's sleep.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!

We spent a week in Hondarribia, very close to San Sebastián. We stayed at Hotel Obispo, no frills but fine for us. They had a few parking spaces.

Where did you park your car? The hotel told me they don't have a dedicated protected car park, that one parks in the public lot.
The hotel looks great, just concerned about getting the rental damaged.

Hondarribia is an extremely safe town and I would not worry about unguarded parking...that´s where most locals park and crime is absolutely irrelevant. Hondarribia is a beautiful but expensive place for lodging, 15miles from Donostia-San Sebastian.

We stayed at the Parador even though it is pricey. It has a small, dedicated parking lot. There’s also an elevator behind it that goes to the lower town if you don’t want to walk up/down the hill. Not sure when you’re going, but prices changes according to the season. For convenience, we always pay for the expansive breakfast buffet.

Check for NH, Accor, and Mercure hotels. They are all chain hotels and generally nice to stay at. Another budget chain is Ibis, but I didn’t see any in San Sebastián.

In Hondarrbia there is a very large parking lot by the beach.
