Does anyone know if most places will be open on Xmas 24-25th? Esp 24 eve and the xmas day.

24th > Some tourist sites will be open; many restaurants will be open for lunch, and some even for dinner.
25th > A few tourist sites are open half a day, until 2pm; some restaurants will be open for lunch, and a few for dinner.

Check the individual restaurant websites for info on whether they will be open on these specific dates.
Shops will be closed, one because the 24th is a Sunday, and on Sunday shops are closed here, and on X-mas Day shops are also always closed.
