I'm just booked a flight from Madrid to Lisbon in April and paid the higher price ticket for seat assignments and "more leg room/wider seat". When I went to the seat map I was a bit confused as it shows to choose either up front (not business class, but just farther up) or more room XL which is over the wing around row 15 and not the exit row. Anyone have any experience on that flight to know if the XL room is actually farther in the back? Seat Guru and another seating website didn't really help. It did show the pitch, but I just wasn't sure.
It's a short flight, not too worried, but I paid for something I'd like to get it right.

I finally found some info and a YouTube video (it’s amazing what you can find on YouTube) that explained some difference and sure enough, the XL seats are just behind the exit row.
