Hi,

I hope you are doing well.

Thanks in advance for the advice and help.

I will be in Barcelona arriving June 28th at 5 p.m. and will be staying there till July 4th. On July 4th I'll be leaving to Pamplona for the running of the bulls.

I was wondering where is a smart area to stay. I'm in my 30's and will be traveling by myself, so moving around won't be a problem. I have to see all things Guadi and Dali releated, but that's as far as a tourist that I want to be. I want to live like the locals and do what they do.

I'm also a film student and want to bring my camera for filming, so if there is a film area around that I could explore that would help too.

Please let me know if there is a great street or hostel or place you can think of. Also, keep in mind that I love all types of food, so if there is a place that has great areas to eat I wouldn't mind staying there as well.

By film area, I meant that I would like to see how they go about doing filming in Barcelona.

I was wondering if they have any techniques I could learn.

In 2010 you posted that you would be in Barcelona in September of that year. I suppose you must have learned your way around a bit then. In the meantime a good guide book can't go wrong.
