Does Barcelona deserve more time? Should I grab a day from Granada or try to extend my stay by a day or two for more in Barcelona?

I think that you have a great schedule. We only spent 2 nights in Granada- so if you want an extra day in Barcelona take it from Granada
… agree that adding nights to Barcelona is a great idea. Two nights in Granada and three in Madrid would be sufficient for me. There are tons of interesting daytrips from Barcelona ( Girona, Besalu, Tossa de Mar, Montserrat, Tarragona, Sitges…)
Though you don't indicate when you are going, your itinerary looks good. I was in Spain in March. 17 nights. Flew into Barcelona and out of Madrid. My itinerary was 5 nights in Barcelona, 1 in Toledo, 3 in Granada, 1 in Cordoba, 4 in Seville, and 3 in Madrid. In hindsight, I would have eliminated the one-night stays, and I would have stayed 4 nights in Seville only if I had done from Seville a side-trip to Cordoba. My two favorite cities were Barcelona and Granada. Poll people on these forums and you will see many extolling as favorites Madrid, Seville, and Cordoba.
