Hi Travelers,
We're trying to book trains for our Spain travel in May. Before we commit to an early train to Cordoba (6:55am), can anyone tell us how we should get to Atocha station on a Sunday by 6:30am? We're staying in Lavapies, not too far from the station - walking would take us 20 min? But should we consider a ride share like Uber? Metro? taxi? Bus?
Would appreciate any and all thoughts you have. We know we can check with TI when we get there, but we want to book now, so we are turning to your wisdom!
Thank you!
I would suggest having your hotel call for a taxi a day or so before you need to leave. That's what I did when I had to leave my Madrid hotel at 6am to get to the airport. I can't remember the taxi company, but they were waiting for me when I came downstairs at 5:55am. It was super easy and a convenient way to travel.
Thanks for your reply, Dawn - it makes sense now that we can go ahead and book, knowing that there will surely be a way to get there in a city like Madrid. We'll be in an AirBnb, but will fine our way with a taxi or something else. We just needed to think it through. Thanks for taking the time to help us!
