Have booked hotels, and all attractions...and also the transportation within different cities.
After all this, how much should be enough for a family of 4 including two children? For 12 days altogether in Barcelona,Madrid, Granada and Seville. Suggestions please! Thank you!
Maybe $10,000. I am sure $10,000 would cover it. It is an impossible question. A lot depends on what and where you eat. It is easy for two adults to spend an 100E or more a day. Throw in a couple of kids, some snacks, who knows - maybe 150 to 200E/day.
If you are talking about just to eat and maybe buy stuff for four people $200 a day.
Like the above poster its hard to say without knowing your lifestyle.
Frank, if you are unsure of the answer, then best not to reply...throwing a figure like $10K doesn't make sense...I don't know what currency you are referring to...even €200 a day equates to approx $4K CAD.
I haven't been to Spain, but $10,000 made my jaw drop. Granted that we stayed in apartments and mostly ate in, but last summer we visited, London, Amsterdam, Prague, Vienna, Salzburg, and Paris for 45 days. We are a family of four and we didn't quite break $16,000 for everything including plane tickets.
Frank was joking, but making the point that we have no idea what kind of restaurants the OP plans to frequent or what the family's shopping habits might be.
If we are only talking about ...
•meals & drinks
•local transport
•local sights
•small souvenirs
... then I would aim for $100 pp per day, and that would be AUD !!
Thanks everyone.
