Hi,
We're visiting Barcelona in late September and am planning to visit La Sagrada Familia, including the Nativity Tower. How long should we plan to be there, so as not to rush? Later in that same day, we'll go to Park Guell, so I'm trying to figure out what time to reserve for that second visit.
Thanks!
Pat
Went there just three months ago. It was a rainy day so the guided tour only lasted about an hour. We did not visit the towers. Arrived about thirty minutes early to walk around. Visited other areas after the tour for about 30 minutes. If you added a tower tour your total time could be three to four leisurely hours. Definitely no more time is needed.
We got tickets at opening time last fall and used their smartphone app for guiding. Spent about 1 1/2 hours without a tower tour. Also didn't spend much time in the museum but it had some interesting displays. There is a ton of details in the basilica that take time to see. In my opinion that most interesting church in Europe.
I guess 30-120 minutes for the main church depending on how much you want to sit and marvel at one of the most amazing religious spaces in the world. If you just wanna check it out and get you selfies, you could breeze through in 30 minutes.
The tower adds another 15-20 minutes maybe.
Thanks all, for your input.
