How long in Ronda ?

Hi we will be in Ronda in early January, travelling from Malaga.
I have allowed two nights, one and half days there before traveling to Jerez and onwards.
Can we walk all the sights in one and half day?
I just re read Ricks book and am beginning to wonder. We will not visit all the museums but would like to see the bullring and museum, the baths and bridges. !
We would also like to walk to old town and the old bridge. Is this far or challenging?
Thank you

Two nights is perfect. Ronda is small, and most of the sights are quick to see. The biggest, most time consuming sight was probably the bullfighting museum. You’ll spend more time wandering around town, enjoying the views and admiring the bridge at different times of day (which somehow never gets old.)

Walking the old town, down to the baths and back is not challenging at all. I would suggest skipping the stairs to the bottom of the cistern though! Make sure you indulge in a few jamon and quail egg tapas while you’re there!

I agree that two nights provides a sufficient amount of time. Pretty much, everything in the town is off the main road through town. Walking down to the gorge is what can take up some time, depending on how far down you go. Seeing the bridge lit up at night from the gorge provides a nice photo opportunity.

If you are traveling by public transport two nights in Ronda is perfect. If you are traveling by car, stay somewhere else and day trip to Ronda. Many towns and villages around Ronda are easier by car and more appealing overnight.

Hi from Wisconsin,
Ronda is really a one or two day spot only. There is a good restaurant on the south side of the bridge called Santa Maria. Good food, friendly staff.

Outside of Ronda is a cave with prehistoric paintings going back 32,000 years. It is difficult to get a reservation, not so much from crowds but because of how it is run. Well worth getting to, and that can take some time, maybe 3 hours minimum.

Make sure to walk Ronda all the way south. The north side is not much beyond the bull ring. The tourist office is set back behind the bull ring and they were kind enough to get us tickets to the cave, but it took a day fro them to do it.
