How far out do I need to book air from BCN to PMI?

We have a group of six adults traveling to Majorca for a few days. I want to book airfare to and from BCN Thursday to Sunday. Are these buys flights in July? Thanks!

Hi @goharris321
If this is for July 2023 book now. Ryanair is the airline you should use as they have the most daily flights:

You just need to pay Ryanair for checking in baggage carry on baggage and seat selection. Otherwise very efficient airline.

Be sure each passenger reads RyanAir's rules very, very carefully. It is the least customer-friendly airline I've every heard about. If you have a paper boarding pass and manage to lose it on the way to the airport, RyanAir will charge you $50 or more to print a new one. At many outbound airports people traveling on US passports have an extra step they must go through--a passport review at (usually) a completely separate counter. Miss that step and you'll be turned back later in the process and may well miss the flight.

I would chose a different airline if I could, but I don't know what options you have for that particular flight, and RyanAir might be a lot cheaper, which is obviously a consideration.

Be sure the flight departs from BCN rather than from the airport up in Girona, which RyanAir also uses. Girona is a lovely city, but if you're staying in Barcelona before the flight, you obviously want to fly out of BCM if possible.

We had no problems using RyanAir from Krakow to Rome non stop, one of their longer flights. They sent us constant emails reviewing their rules and regulations and gave us the chance to pay for checked luggage, early boarding and to choose our seats, all in advance. We have never received so much information in advance about any other flight we have taken. We had a totally different experience than the poster immediately above this post.

Same here, I use to feel the same way as acraven but it was all based on hearsay. I flew Ryanair for the first time this year to see for myself and everything went fine. I would fly them again. Just like Suki said. Very efficient airline with open communication about the potential fees.
They have 6 flights a day from BCN (the main airport in Barcelona) to PMI.

Hi, AVOID Ryanair — racketeers — check out Vueling.com: 12 flights a day Barcelona-PMI.

I bought air tickets from Barcelona to Mallorca and Mallorca to Madrid through Expedia. Many options. I always include our luggage to avoid surprises.
