We have two flights booked with Vueling - going from Granada to Barcelona, and from Barcelona to Porto, Portugal. Reading the details, they say to arrive at least 2 hrs before domestic flights and 3 hours before international?? Wondering if we need to allow that much time for these short flights?
Thanks for your help!
(We will not have any bags to check)
Both flights are considered domestic, as they are intra Schengen. 2 hours is the standard recommendation for that type of flight. However in, Granada, if you wont need to check in luggage, and will have your boarding pass, 1.5 hrs should be fine. Barcelona OTOH, is a much busier airport, so 2 hrs is prudent.
It really depends on:
--will you have checked bags? (You won't.),
--can you check in online and skip the check in counter?
--how busy is the airport. (The bigger the airport, the longer the line at security.)
If you can go straight to security on your arrival, I don't understand arriving three hours ahead of time. Unless you have lounge privilege and it's free meal time.
