In Madrid for only 2 days. Need nice, clean, comfortable hotel within walking distance of major hotels. Women 70, good walker. Thanks

I assume you mean you want a hotel near the major "MUSEUMS" not a hotel near a hotel.
We stayed at the Hotel NH Collection Madrid, which is very near the Prado. Walkable to the Reina Sofia. and very near the Thyssen Museum.
If that's too expensive, look for hotels along the Paseo del Prado near the Prado museum.
