Agree that you must offer an idea of budget.
If it's generous, I'm pretty certain that you will not find a better hotel than the PALACIO DON RAMON on the Plaza del Duque, across the square from EL CORTE INGLES and near the "mushrooms." I walked to all my restaurants from there. It's a smalll hotel with only about 15 rooms, carved into a historic building and as gorgeous as you might imagine, down to the upholstery on the furniture!!! Breakfast in the courtyard, served at your table--no buffet. Rooms (I had the least expensive category) are not large but they are beautifully decorated. And, apart from. my stay at their sister hotel in Jerez, I have never stayed at a hotel that sends you an e-mail before arrival asking you which bath products (soaps, shampoo, creams, etc) you would like placed in your room.
There are three possibilities and I chose the Nuxe, which I love!!!

I stayed for about a week last March and would not stay anywhere else in Sevilla now that I know about the DON RAMON. And for anyone headed to Jerez, their sister property is PALACIO MARIA LUISA, equally wonderful.

Thank you so much; yes I've heard about Don Ramon and it sounds wonderful. As for the "we", my husband and myself and 2 friends (2 rooms) and our budget is fortunately flexible. So any additional suggestions would be appreciated.

We loved Gravina 51. Lovely rooms and exceptional service in a great area. Walkable to everything.
