Have you researched any yourself?
We loved a premium room at the Parador. It's pricey (parking is additional), but good air conditioning and fabulous views. Close to the most expensive in Ronda, I'm sure. Also books up. And to quote 50% of the posts on this board about all locations in Europe, "Nice to walk around after the day trippers have left."
The Parador. It is right at the “new” bridge. Another choice is hotel San Gabriel (recommended by RS and in one of his videos). It’s a couple blocks from the bridge. We enjoyed our stay at the San Gabriel. Ronda is a small town with one main street running through it. Everything to see is within walking distance.
You can check out the Paradors at www.parador.es/en. They have a free to join program. With your first reservation made from the Parador site, you receive a free breakfast for you and your guest. You also get a free beverage (beer, wine, soda) upon check in at any Parador you stay at. If you’re over 55, they offer a special discount. Also, if you use them a lot, you earn points for every stay that can be used for a free room. Other than a very few in popular locations (e.g., Granada, Santiago de Compostela, Hondarribia) prices are in line with other hotels in the area where they are located. On our trip to northern Spain last year, we accumulated enough points for a free suite on our last night (in Tordesillas) prior to returning to Madrid.
OP, have you looked in the Rick Steves Spain book? Do you have the Rick Steves book?
You know this is what the books are for, right?
The op has essentially the same post for a number of cities. He could have combined them into one post.
Thank you so much to those who took the time to provide their suggestions and experiences.
