Hotel Atlantico on Gran Via is very nice with a lounge/terrace on top floor.

One hotel RS recommends is hotel Europa right at the Puerta del Sol and its metro stop. It’s a nice hotel with a good location and is only a couple minutes walk from the Gran Via.

Nice location, 15 minute walk to Royal Palace and Prado (Metro across the street).
